Advocacy
It is part of our mission to stay informed of public policy issues that impact Larimer County Seniors
The FOA Advocacy committee meets regularly to review and prioritize public policy issues and to inform and make recommendations for action by the board and its individual members.
We recognize that Larimer County is blessed with a well-informed, educated and articulate population of seniors. Our concern is to see that those seniors who have become disconnected from the mainstream of public discourse also have a voice in informing public policy. It is often the disenfranchised who are most impacted by proposals for legislative change.
