LARIMER COUNTY SUMMIT ON AGING

On Friday, January 22, 2010, the Foundation on Aging will convene the Larimer County Summit on Aging.   Our goals for this event are to:

  • Engage Larimer County community stakeholders (businesses, legislators, local foundations, philanthropic entities and individuals) in developing new and creative solutions to unmet needs of seniors.
  • Create awareness, and educate Larimer County community stakeholders about the needs of older adults and the resources required to meet such needs.
  • Maintain and strengthen FOA’s rapid response emergency grants program as a safety net for unmet needs of seniors.

Become a Sponsor
We invite you to participate as a sponsor of the Summit on Aging.  Funding will be used to help underwrite the cost of the event and to support ongoing efforts to address local aging issues.

Become a Partner
As the FOA addresses the impact of aging throughout all aspects of life in our community, we seek collaborative relationships with all who have a stake in the welfare of our community as we age.  The Summit on Aging will provide opportunity to become involved and be recognized for a commitment to implementing solutions that bring about ‘aging readiness’ for Larimer County.
