Become a FOA Volunteer

The Foundation on Aging relies on its volunteers to accomplish its work out in the community. We have a variety of projects to satisfy a range of skills and interests. We welcome your participation.

The Emergency Grants Committee has as its mission to Identify and provide assistance to seniors whose needs are not met by existing community resources. This is accomplished through emergency financial assistance, referrals to
appropriate agencies, and collaboration with community partners.

The Fundraising committee is dedicated to  develop and Implement methods to raise funds in support of the FOA mission.

The Community awareness committee is charged with creating the message to raise community awareness of senior needs and with identifying resources and opportunities to deliver that message. The stated mission is to mobilize our community by stimulating conversation about aging issues.

The Advocacy Committee's mission is to review, prioritize and recommend action for the FOA Board regarding public policy issues that impact Larimer County seniors.

Each of these committees relies on volunteer support to accomplish its mission. Whether you are interested in assisting with administrative support, community education, event planning, coordination of resources to address emergency needs, researching legislation or best practices adopted by other communities, keeping web content updated, contacting potential donors and sponsors we welcome your interest.

You can fill out a volunteer application (pdf)  and send it to us or Contact FOA for more information.
