Roger Bermingham, MD
Ft. Collins, Colorado
Dr. Bermingham did his undergraduate work at Dartmouth College and his Medical School training at UCLA. After completing a residency in Family Medicine at University of Iowa, he worked as a rural practitioner in Lamar. He then moved to Fort Collins to join PVH Family Practice Residency as faculty, eventually becoming director of the training program from 1996 to 2001. Dr. Bermingham became certified in Geriatrics in 1988, and changed the focus of his practice to health care for patients in nursing homes, assisted livings and the home setting. He is Medical Director of Good Samaritan and Golden Peaks Nursing Homes locally, and active in the state Medical Director Association. He continues to teach at the residency, focusing on Geriatrics, Medical Ethics, and Professionalism.
