The Foundation on Aging uses its funds to support educational and service programs that address the concerns of seniors in need in Larimer County. The Board, in partnership with the Larimer County Office on Aging, assesses primary needs in the county, establishes funding priorities, and distributes funds to support local agency programs that address those needs. Supported programs include community education on senior issues, scholarships for respite care, dental assistance, funding for transportation services and low income prescription drug programs. We also maintain a fund to distribute small emergency grants to seniors who need immediate assistance with medical or dental care, moving costs, emergency home repair, eyeglasses, and similar personal needs.
Any business, professional group, or individual interested in helping to improve the quality of life for seniors in our county is invited to support the Foundation on Aging. Memorials may also be designated to the Foundation.
All donations will be used as the donor directs. Donations are tax deductible.
