Welcome to the Foundation on Aging for Larimer County

The Foundation on Aging for Larimer County aims to bring about community awareness of the unmet needs of aging - and to be a catalyst for addressing such needs through collaboration that seeks innovative, funded solutions that result in healthy, happy, and enriched lives for us all.

AREAS OF CONCERN FOR SENIORS IN OUR COMMUNITY

Like the majority of Americans, the residents of Larimer County wish to remain in their own communities as they age, otherwise known as aging-in-place.   The challenges to aging-in-place affect not only our residents, but also businesses, civic leaders and others in the community.

The Foundation on Aging (FOA) invites you to learn, interact, get involved, and benefit from innovative solutions for the challenges of aging.

Larimer County Summit on Aging
The Foundation on Aging plans to conduct a ‘Summit on Aging’ early in 2010.  This event will convene aging residents and families with community leaders, business leaders, providers and others for the purpose of bringing about collaborative, proactive solutions to the impact of aging in our community.

FOA Sponsors/Partners

The Foundation on Aging invites community leaders, business leaders, service providers, residents of Larimer County and other stakeholders to join our mission.
